On August 15th was held the tournament «Korean Day 2015»
«Korean Day» was established to celebrate the independence of the Republic of
Korea, first recognized on August 15, 1945.
This year is especially meaningful for the Republic of Korea because 2015 is
the 70th anniversary since Korea gained independence. Moreover, it shows South
Korea's status as a member of the international community, which has developed
as a helping and supporting country in international society.
Therefore, we planned «Korean Day 2015» to celebrate the 70th anniversary of
Korean independence. We appreciate all of the members of MCC (Moscow Country
Club) and all those who participated in our event.
«Korean Day 2015» was organized by KOCHAM (Korean Chamber of Commerce in
Russia – a community of Korean companies in Russia), and ‘The Korean
Society’ in Moscow. We hope that our momentous event was meaningful to you
all.
