August 3 to 4, the Strawberry Fields golf club hosted the Masters 55+ Cross-Club Match Championship. The format of the two-round 18-hole doubles changed every ninth hole: holes 1-9 – scramble; holes 10-18 – four-ball; holes 19-27 – greensomes; holes 28-36 – total score. Each team consisted of six players over 55 years old (born in 1967 and earlier).
Same as last year, the Moscow Country Club golfers won the first prize. The Tseleevo team did second best. The GORKI golf club players were the last to join the top three of the tournament.
