On May 14, the Moscow Country Club hosted the Season Opening Tournament. It is a long-awaited and numerous event. The "scramble tour" format was chosen to have the maximum number of players in the field at the same time. 26 teams of 5 people took part in the tournament.
Tournament results:
1st place: Evgenia Yefimova, Hong Yoon Mi, Lee Baikyong, Maria Vishnyakova, Anatoly Kovalenchik.
2nd place: Evgeny Orekhov, Sergey Makarov, Andrey Sergeev, Larisa Rasstrygina, Olga Sergeeva.
3rd place: Leonid Ishchenko, Sofia Slizhova, Bu Jinhyeon, Hwang Jae Ho, Vladimir Tatarintsev.
The award ceremony was opened by the head of the Moscow Country Club Golf Department, Maria Bazhenova, and the club's captains, Olga Mateshina and Konstantin Sokol. The festive atmosphere of the ceremony was complemented by an incredible musical program from the string quartet "Gloria".
