On May 30, ahead of International Children's Day, GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia will host the 30th International Charity Golf Tournament at Moscow Country Club (Moscow Region, Krasnogorsk Urban District, Nakhabino).
For three decades, this event has brought together golf players, foreign diplomats, business people and everyone else who chooses not to remain indifferent to the plight of severely ill children. In the course of the tournaments, over RUB 150 million has been raised for specialized charities, saving dozens of lives and bringing in thousands of children's smiles.
Traditionally, on top of the riveting contest on the Moscow Country Club golf course, the club will also host a celebratory family festival with a diverse range of amusements and enlightenment on offer. Fun for kids and grown-ups!
The day will start with bracing exercises by Olympic champion in gymnastics Vera Shimanskaya. You will be able to meet the decorated athlete in the lecture hall and ask her questions about motivation, the joy of victories, and the importance of self-development.
Other fascinating lectures to take place there: “Emotional Intelligence at the Age of AI,” “Vinyl Music: How to Collect Vinyl Records and Why,” “The Secret Conversation Formula, or How to Have Difficult Talks with Children.”
Those who enjoy outdoor activities are welcome to try their hand at table tennis and pétanque or take a ride in a paddle boat: moments of joy and unforgettable emotions are guaranteed!
Moscow Country Club is the oldest golf club in Russia, so of course there will be a mini-golf master class. Vera Shimanskaya, who competes in major international golf tournaments, will help the guests perfect their technique.
Creative personalities will be able to show their mettle at master classes: guided by seasoned entertainers, kids will make paper flower wreaths, cardboard or bast figurines with their own hands. Fans of folk crafts are welcome to the mosaic or traditional applied arts lessons, while those with a sweet tooth are free to enjoy tiramisu making or Kolomna gingerbread painting.
There are also corners with foods produced by farmers of the Moscow Region, a grill bar, and a cozy coffee shop waiting for the guests.
The staff of the festival's partner, the Cody School, will host open lessons in videogame development, the basics of robotics, and pixel art, while the Razgon project by Gazprom Media Holding will provide an introduction into beatmaking and will teach the fundamentals of music creation.
The event will culminate in an electrifying musical show. The Kolenkor folk band, Gabriel, R.Ricсardo, DJ Nik Nak, and the Flow, Song band led by Anatoly Meshaev will take the stage.
Face painting opportunities will round out the festive mood.
Leading Russian companies and financial institutions acted as the tournament's partners and sponsors: VTB Bank (Public Joint-Stock Company) (VTB Bank (PJSC)), Bank PSB Public Joint-Stock Company (Bank PSB PJSC), and Structura Agency Limited Liability Company (Structura Agency LLC).
Entrance by ticket only. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to charity.
