Dear members!
From 26 to 30 November 2017 in Belek (Turkey) on the courses
of Carya and National Golf Clubs were held two tournaments:
Team
tournament – Regnum Moscow Club Championship and Individual tournament Regnum
Moscow Winter Challenge.
7 Moscow Golf clubs: Moscow Country Club, Agalarov, Forest
Hills, Links, Pestovo, Skolkovo, MCGC fought in the Regnum Moscow Invitational
Club Championship, where 12 Amateurs from each club played in the format
Ryder Cup.
Moscow Country Club Team: Alexey Ablekov, Andrey Biryukov, Boris
Biryukov, Alexander Timoshin, Alexey Sidorov, Olga Mateshina, Choi Deok Soo,
Konstantin Sokol, Vladimir Kryukov, Mikhail Mostovoy, Anna Zorina, Stanislav
Pomytkin and the team captain – Konstantin Gribkov.
Due to the weather conditions (thunderstorm and heavy rain) the first
tournament round was cancelled on November 27th. On the second day the
participants played at format Forsam, when each player makes hit. There were
individual matches on the third day.
The pressure of the struggle of the most significant foreign competition among
the Moscow Golf clubs was felt in each flight during the Regnum tournament.
According to the results of the tournament Regnum Moscow Club Championship,
the Moscow Country Club team took the 5th place.

In the individual tournament Regnum Moscow Winter Challenge
which was held in the format of individual Stableford with full handicap, MCC
members played successfully:
After the
first round among men’s group A – 1st place – Arthur
Minosiantz (36 points).
On the
second day the winners were:
men’s group
A – 1st place – Alexey Volkov (33 points)
women’s group A – 1st place – Irina Selivanova
(36 points).
