DEAR MEMBERS! Please be advised that in 2016 entered into force a new edition of the Manual «EGA Handicap System» 2016–2019. Just a reminder about the system of counting HCP and some changes are worth paying attention this year. 1. To use the notion of active/inactive handicap, namely: a) the Handicap is active, if the statements of a golfer is considered 4 or more qualifying rounds for the season on the date of the procedure. Otherwise, the handicap is inactive and can be activated by pass 3 qualifying rounds. b) Primary associated value of the handicap is based on one qualifying round is an inactive handicap. After providing 2 additional qualification of the results the handicap is active. Please pay attention to this rule when registering for tournaments: club championship, Medal of the month Cup Captains Match Play. 2. To prohibit the flow of RDD(round extra day) for players in handicap categories 1 and 2 ( plus-and –4,4 4,5 – 11,4). For these categories of handicap change occurs only after participating in the tournament. For other categories the change of handicap may after RDD. 3. The player cannot move from handicap category 3 to category 2 in the framework of the RDD. After RDD that your handicap can go up to 11.5 and to become better You must improve it in the tournament.
